Centerra Gold Inc is a Canada-based gold mining company. The Company is focused on operating, developing, exploring and acquiring gold properties in North America, Asia and other markets worldwide. The Company operates various mines, which include the Kumtor Mine in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Mount Milligan Mine in British Columbia, Canada, the Oksut Mine in Turkey and The Thompson Creek Metals. Its holds 100% of the Kumtor gold mine through its wholly owned subsidiary Kumtor Gold Company (KGC). Kumtor is located in the Kyrgyz Republic, about 350 kilometers (km) southeast of the capital Bishkek and about 60 km north of the border with the Peoples Republic of China. The Mount Milligan project is located approximately 155 km northwest of Prince George in central British Columbia, Canada. The Oksut Mine is located in the Kayseri province of south-central Turkey, 295 km to the southeast of the capital city of Ankara and 48 km directly south of the city of Kayseri.
